THE MISSION:

The year is 2040. After the Resource Wars of the 21st century, corporations replaced governments as the leading powers in the world, destroying the Earth's delicate ecosystem. Now, the rich live in gigantic skyscrapers while the less fortunate struggle to eke out a meager existence.

In Metropia, the world's largest city state, the corporation Maximum Inc. work toward creating what they call "The Maximum Era," a world full of steal spires and robot workers called BIOTs. They will stop at nothing to achieve this goal, and it is the planet and its people who will suffer the consequences.

In 2040, humanity only has a ghost of a chance.
