27/07/2026 - Land Down Under

In a few days my family and I are flying to Australia. We do this every two years so I can see my parents, sister, grandparents, niece and nephew, etc, with my parents flying to England the other year. It's always a wonderful trip, even if the flight it a bit painful, but this year will be the first time going with our baby, so that might prove interesting. ^_^

We'll be there for a little under four weeks, so in that time NDU probably won't see much action. I might check in from time to time, but there most likely won't be any updates until after we get back to the UK.

Over the last little while there has been a fair bit going on here, but mostly behind the scenes. My three main collection listings are now all complete, at least to the point where all items I have previously catalogued have been added. There are many items I've not yet catalogued so they'll be added over time.

The "minor" collections will be added as well at a future point, but to mix things up a little I've been working on some shrines. You may have seen that the first one, dedicated to No Man's Sky, is already live. I've ideas for several others as well.

Outside of that, I've been making a few minor changes to the site just to ensure it is a bit more stable and easy to navigate. One such change is moving to each blog post being its own page. I will look into making the site more mobile friendly at some point as well, but that might be a way of.

It was the last week of the school year last Friday, hence why I've the free time to head to Australia. My boss, one of the kindest people I know, gave me an end of year gift; the LEGO Sonic and Speedstar set. I've stayed away from the Sonic LEGO because a) it's expesnive and b) with so much Sonic stuff already I simply dont have room for it. Still, this is a very cool addition to the collection!

That'll do it for not. See you in about four weeks.

TTFN.
